Thinking about doing some painting but just don't know what colour to choose? Well, we're here to help you out.
I must be honest, before doing the research for this blog post, I was not up to date on what companies had named their colour of the year, and its already April. I know, shame on me.
1. Beauti-Tone - Green Peace

For all of you who are bored of neutrals, they aren't going away anytime soon. But, Beauti-Tone paints is showing us that neutrals can be fun with their colour of the year, Green Peace.
2. Behr - In The Moment

Source: Behr
Behr went with this years trend of darker colours with their colour of the year, In The Moment. This colour is an elegant, dramatic colour that gives me an almost vintage feel. It also bring warmth to the space, which most blues don't do.
3. Pantone - Ultra Violet

Ultra Violet was named Pantone's colour of the year and in my opinion, I feel like this colour is having its fame in fashion right now because there isn't many interior shots with this colour. Though this should not discourage you from utilising this colour that brings excitement to spaces, and if you feel like this colour is a big commitment, try out a tint or a shade to bring it down .
4. Sherwin Williams - Oceanside

Sherwin Williams decided to take the same route as Behr this year and name Oceanside Blue as their colour for 2018. This vibrant colour is a good one for all you playful souls out their and also compliments gold, which is popular for finishes this year.
5. Benjamin Moore - Caliente

Benjamin Moore really took me by surprise with Caliente, most manufactures stuck on the cooler side of the spectrum. Either way, Caliente is a good way to add a dose of passion to your space.
I could really keep going on and on, there's just so many companies to choose from. I'm going to cut to the chase though and let you all know which out of these five is my favourite.
Though I do love Pantone's Ultra Violet, I will have to say my favourite colour this year is Behr's In The Moment. I love how cozy it makes me feel just by looking at it and yet it still has a sunny feel, keeping things bright, but not overpowering.
